PBRMC Environmental Services Department wins Diamond Award

POPLAR BLUFF, MO, January 22, 2024 – Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center’s Environmental Service’s Director, Terry Gouker, named as HHS 2023 Diamond Award winner.

Gouker has been with PBRMC for more than a year and within this time, he’s introduced new staffing strategies, implemented training programs and focused on elevating the overall patient experience.

Their commitment, resilience, and passion for excellence have not only elevated our department but have also significantly improved the overall healthcare experience for our patients. I am proud to lead such a talented and dedicated group of individuals,’ Gouker added.
HHS, a national hospital housekeeping company, recognizes outstanding leaders from EVS and Patient Transport service lines. The Diamond Award was created to commemorate the achievements of top-performing leaders based on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
In total, HHS recognized 19 winners in 2023, three from each of their six regions.
