POPLAR BLUFF, MO, March 3, 2025 -- Physician Assistant Zach Ferguson, PA-C, has joined the medical staff of Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, bringing a passion for helping patients regain mobility and return to the activities they love.
A Poplar Bluff native, Ferguson chose to practice at Poplar Bluff Regional to stay close to family and be part of the hospital’s highly skilled orthopedic team. “I grew up playing sports and understand firsthand how important movement is to maintaining an active lifestyle. I’m excited to help patients recover from injuries and get back to doing what they enjoy,” said Ferguson.
Ferguson earned his Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Missouri State University. He previously worked in dermatology before transitioning to orthopedics. He will be specializing in joint injections, fracture care and sports injuries.
Beyond medicine, Ferguson enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife, two sons, and their dog, Murphy.
“We are thrilled to welcome Zach to our orthopedic team at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center,” said Clyde Wood, CEO. “Zach brings valuable knowledge and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. His addition to our orthopedic clinic strengthens our ability to serve the community and enhance access to specialized care.”
Ferguson will maintain office hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is currently accepting new patients. For more information, visit www.regionalphysicianservices.com/doctors-providers.
