11/28/2022
Sara Rose, PA -C, has joined the medical staff of Regional Physician Services Orthopedics.
Rose started her journey to becoming a physician assistant right here at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center and after graduating PA school and practicing in different towns, has decided to “come back home.” She previously worked at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO, with their orthopedic trauma surgery team.
Rose graduated with her Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, and her Bachelor of Science in chemistry with minor in biology from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR.
“I fell in love with orthopedics and getting to help people, whether it be a fracture they’ve suffered or a painful joint they need replaced,” Rose said.
Rose is accepting new patients. Her areas of specialty include joint injections, fracture care, sports injuries and trauma surgery for injuries of both upper and lower extremities.
Born and raised in Southeast Missouri, Rose chose Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center “because it feels good to come back home and get to serve the community doing what I love.”
“Very exciting to have Sara's experience as an ortho/trauma orthopedic PA joining our already high-quality orthopedic group,” CEO Rick Naegler said. “Sara's hometown reunion will allow her to bring her years of experience and knowledge back to support the community she is from.”
Sara Rose lives with her husband, son, and terrier mutt named Jackson. In her spare time, she enjoys all things Kansas City Chiefs, Current River, and spending time with family.
Rose will maintain office hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. She is currently accepting new patients. For more information, visit www.regionalphysicianservices.com and click on “Providers.”
