New Family Nurse Practitioner Joins the Medical Staff at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center

POPLAR BLUFF, MO - Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Amy Pennington has joined the medical staff of Regional Physician Services with Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center (PBRMC).

“Being a nurse practitioner is the best and highest pursuit of a life’s work for someone who loves problem solving. I wanted to do something in my career that was challenging, interesting, and made a difference in people's lives,” said Pennington. “I love the close relationship that I have with my patients.”

Pennington graduated from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ with her Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) and from St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO, with her Master of Science in nursing (MSN). She is certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Amy Pennington, FNP-C, joins us at PBRMC’s Primary Care located at 2360 Katy Lane. Pennington is accepting new patients and her areas of experience include family health, such as sick visits, pediatric care, annual preventive wellness visits, immunizations, physicals, DOT physicals, referrals to specialists, pre-employment testing and school screenings. Additionally, Pennington helps manage chronic conditions, performs minor procedures and coordination of care.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and painting.
