Adam Harrison Named Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center

POPLAR BLUFF, MO – Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center (PBRMC) is pleased to announce Adam Harrison, MSN, MBA, as the new assistant chief nursing officer (ACNO), effective Monday, August 22.
“Adam will be a great addition to this community and Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. His passion for patient care and staff development is clearly identified,” CNO Tim O’Neal said. “We look forward to Adam joining us as we continue to focus on all aspects of care while supporting our staff and physicians as PBRMC continues to grow and guide the communities we serve.”
With more than a decade in the healthcare industry, Harrison brings an extensive nursing background and leadership repertoire. His nursing career has spanned two hospital health systems (Mercy Bon Secours and HCA) over a 12-year period. He started his nursing profession in the critical care service area and progressively moved into leadership serving as a clinical specialist, manager, and most recently as a director of CVICU, PCU and telemetry at HCA Lake Monroe Hospital. He is a patient-centered leader focused on patient experience and quality outcomes. Adam represents a true leader in the nursing profession.
“For me, leadership is about engaging others collaboratively to improve processes that impact care delivery, enhance patient experience and improve operational processes,” Harrison said.
Harrison graduated with his Master of Science in nursing and Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Indiana, and from Ohio University with his Bachelor of Science in nursing.
Harrison will be living in the community with his wife, Valerie, and his three children: Ava, Amara, and Xander. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his children, going on trips, and any outdoor activity. They look forward to joining the Poplar Bluff community.
