A Reflection of 2022 from Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center’s CEO, Rick Naegler
12/28/2022
As we close another successful year here at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, it is time to reflect on all the success our dedicated care team has provided to our community.
As we continue to come out of a major pandemic, our health care landscape continues to challenge all of us in our ability to stay ahead of the overall healthcare needs of our community. The one thing that has stayed consistent is the drive, dedication and compassion given to our patients throughout our Poplar Bluff health network.
As CEO for Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, I feel it is imperative to thank all of our physicians and providers that continue to bring the best of themselves to provide the best care for all of our communities. We are so fortunate to have healthcare providers with such a high level of skill and dedication.
I also want to thank all of our caregivers and nursing staff for always placing the priorities of our patients and community first in all they do in support of our mission of making people well and live healthier. When you walk the halls of our hospitals, clinics and imaging centers, you can’t miss the compassion of our staff as they deliver care.
Additionally, I want to thank our community leaders and partners for their friendship, support dedication to ensuring our community has the best health-care possible. It goes without saying that our EMS partners continue to drive pre-hospital care at a high level; our local law enforcement and judicial systems continue to be supportive always making it a priority to do the right thing and keeping us all safe and protected. The vision and goal of our local Chamber of Commerce and business leaders to continually promote Poplar Bluff as a destination for new business and residents is inspiring, and we’re proud to be a part of those efforts.
My heartfelt thanks goes to our community and patients for placing your trust in us with your healthcare - choosing our family to take care of your families. Our never-ending goal is to seek ways to improve in meeting your needs and expanding our capability so we can offer the healthcare you need.
2023 will kick off a new era for our health system as we move our entire medical record systems to a trusted and standardized platform that will promote better communications about your care throughout our system. We will also be announcing new physicians and providers who will join our healthcare team in the new year, providing key services and allowing you to stay in Poplar Bluff for your care.
I am humbled by all of the great people associated with the provision of care here at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, and I am grateful for the ability to lead us into the future. Stay well!
